- This is my second year as a librarian and I am loving it! Previously, I taught for a total of 8 years as a classroom teacher. I have taught a wide range of levels from 4th-8th grade. Language arts was my favorite, but in the recent years I've really enjoyed the challenge of guiding students through mathematical problem-solving.
In this story, a little girl is a picky eater. Her parents send her to visit her grandma and she throws her food into the ocean. That is when it gets funny because a little worm eats it and everyday the worm eats more and more. Now the worm is so big and there is more excitement, but you have to read to find out.

There was a littl girl named Katherine Elizabeth who was going to go visit her grandmother by herself Her mom and dad had the ship crew feed her oatmeal everyday. She kept throwing it away because she didn't like it. But, she didn't know that she was feeding a worm that turned into a lochness monster.
